How to Secure your Mobi Doc

The following guide will show you how to secure your Mobi Doc to prevent any future changes to your HTML code.

Click on the "+" sign to the left of the relevant template to view the various versions. You can then click on the "View HTML" button next to the specific version you would like edit, and click on the "General Settings" tab, as seen below:

Important Information

  • Edit: This option allows you to change the name, description or version of the current template in use.
  • Add Version: This option allows you to create various blank versions of your existing Mobi Doc template.
  • Stats: This option allows you to view the total opens on a specific Mobi Doc over the last 7 days.

Password Enable your Mobi Doc Template:

Should you want to password enable your Mobi Doc, simply tick the "Enable Authentication" check-box, enter your security question and click on "Save" to the bottom-right of your screen, to prevent any unauthorised access to your Mobi Doc, as seen below:

Enable Authentication

  • Sensitive documents can be password enabled to ensure that only a recipient who knows the Mobi Doc password, can access it.
  • This option is ideal for invoices, statements and other sensitive type of documents.

Lock your Mobi Doc Template:

Should you want to "lock" your Mobi Doc template, simply tick the "Prevent Future Changes to this Document" check-box and click on "Save" to the bottom-right of your screen to ensure that your Mobi Doc can not be edited in future, as seen below:

Once you have clicked on "Save", you will not be able to make any further changes to your HTML code.

  • This option is ideal for the creation of sensitive documents.

Important Information

  • Do not select the "Prevent Future Changes to this Document" option until you have created and finalised your HTML code under the "Editor" tab first.
