Resetting your Password

The following guide will show you how to reset your password.

API Users

  • If you are an API sender and change your password, you might disrupt your API integration. Be sure to query this before changing/resetting your password.

Step 1: Login Page

Simply go to the login page at https://cp.smsportal.com and select the "Forgot password?" option, as seen below:

Step 2: Enter Username

Once you have selected the "Forgot password?" option, the system will ask you to type in your account username, as seen below:

Step 3: Submit

Once you have entered your username, you can proceed to click on "SUBMIT". The system will then send you an email to the email address linked to your account with further instructions, as seen below:

Step 4: Reset Password

Once you have received the email, you can click on the "Reset Password" button, and the system will open up a new window which will allow you to enter and confirm your new password, as seen below:

Once you click on "Submit", your password will be updated, and you will be able to log in to your account by entering your username and new password.

Usernames

  • Please ensure that you type your username in the correct format, exactly as you did when you created the account, with spaces and caps lock where applicable.
  • Avoid using spaces before or after your username as the system will not be able to find the account.

Important Information

  • If you did not receive your password reset email, kindly check your spam/junk folder for the email as it will be sent from a [email protected] email address, and may be trapped in your spam filter.
