Reply Rules
The following guide will show you how to create a custom reply rule to setup different responses, dependent on specific keywords.
Simply click on "Sending" on the left-hand control panel menu, select the "Reply Rules" option and follow these easy steps:
Step 1: Name
Click on "Create Reply Rule" to the top right of your screen and give your new reply rule a name, as seen below:
Step 2: Specify
Create your first reply rule by clicking on the "+Additional Rule" button. You can then specify which phrases (words) will trigger the reply by adding it to the "Phrases" section. You can also add an automated response that will be triggered on the specific phrases (words), as seen below:
Once you have completed the above, click the "Apply" button and your new reply rule will be created.
Step 3: Add
Create your second reply rule by clicking on the "+Rule" button. You can then specify which phrases (words) will trigger the reply by adding it to the "Phrases" section. You can also add an automated response that will be triggered on the specific phrases (words), as seen below:
Once you have completed the above, click the "Apply" button and your second reply rule will be created.
Step 4: Create
Once you have created all your reply rules as required, you can proceed to create the reply rule set by clicking on the "+Create Ruleset" button at the top right of your screen, as seen below:
Step 5: Send
Once you have created your reply rule set, you can apply it to your outgoing messages by making the selection under the "Reply Rule" section on your sending screen, as seen below:
Once you have selected the specific reply rule set, you can proceed to preview and send your message by clicking on the "Preview & Send" button.
Examples
- Kindly note that the information and phrases used in the above examples should only be used as a guideline and will be different to your own campaigns, depending on your specific requirements.
Important Information
- You can have all incoming responses forwarded to an email address by adding your email to the "Forward to Email" option.
- An automated response can be setup for all incoming replies. Please note that an additional credit will be deducted from the account for each response sent.
